EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT TAX CREDIT PROGRAM FOR BUSINESSES (EITC) FOR THE 撒迪厄斯·史蒂文斯基金会
Why not keep your business taxes locally and support something that you think is important to improving our state and the economy. The EITC Business Tax Credit Program allows businesses to pay a part of their business taxes directly to an approved Educational Improvement Organization.
Thaddeus Stevens Foundation and 塞迪斯史蒂文斯理工学院 is an approved Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) through which companies can directly designated PA Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC) to support K-12 educational outreach initiatives in local school districts.
In partnership with area school districts 塞迪斯史蒂文斯理工学院 offers an approved educational improvement program for K-12 students. The two anchor programs are Adopt a Kindergarten and College in the High School for seniors who want to take advanced educational programs on a college level .
Our "Adopt of Kindergarten" program introduces students to hands-on-technology in various professional fields. Members of the 塞迪斯史蒂文斯学院 faculty will visit the kindergarten twice a semester for a one hour class and bring examples of technology to demonstrate. Students will study the profession and participate in demonstrations.
At the end of the school year, each class makes a follow-up visit to the College's campus. 家长、学生 & 邀请老师. Round trip transportation is part of the program cost.
On campus the students will tour the college and technology departments/labs; meet the faculty; visit the College 招生 Office to get a feel for the college application process; and receive a photo Identity badge with their potential college graduation year. Other educational, recreational and lunch activities are also included. A Parents Session will focus on how to support their child's aspirations and offer a college education at 塞迪斯史蒂文斯学院 if all the K-12 program initiative steps are completed. The day concludes with the students dressed in caps and gowns proceeding to the auditorium to waiting parents and teachers. The College President will preside over a Graduation Ceremony. Each student receives a certificate of completion and a graduation gift. 随后是招待会. Our College in the High School program offers qualifying students the ability to participate in a "concurrent enrollment" program that supports their educational preparation and career advancement. The College in the High School Program provides a high school senior with an enriched and advanced placement educational experience designed to aid their transition, upon graduation into a post secondary institution or directly into the workforce after their high school graduation.

Students successfully completing College in the High School are awarded credits toward their high school graduation, as well as credits toward a one or two year degree at 塞迪斯史蒂文斯学院, should they chose to continue after their high school graduation.
This program inspires young people to continue their education and/or enter the workforce with advanced technical skills. Every dollar you invest provides more opportunities for high school students who otherwise couldn't afford the opportunity.
The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program is administered by the Department of Community & 第48号法案下的经济发展(DCED).
